Miami International Auto Show
The coolest sets of wheels will descend on Miami’s Art Deco district and South Beach from November 6-15 as part of the 45th Miami International Auto Show.
Budding car buffs, seasoned enthusiasts and industry insiders will convene at the Miami Beach Convention Center to get a glimpse of what auto manufacturers are putting together in test labs across the country and beyond.
Almost 1,000 vehicles will be on display throughout a million feet of exhibit space, featuring everything from new/forthcoming models to concept cars, motorcycles and trucks.
Classic car enthusiasts can enjoy Memory Lane, a gathering of antique/vintage vehicles that are sure to impress both young and old. Twenty cars from years gone by will be on display in all their glory, presented by the Antique Automobile Club of America’s South Florida region. Look for the 1932 Chevy Sports Roadster at the show to be wowed.
Million-Dollar Alley, meanwhile, will feature some of the world’s most opulent, pricey vehicles. All the names you’d expect will be there – Lotus, Ferrari, Rolls Royce and the like – as well as some decadent surprises that will catch even the most ardent car buffs by surprise.
Then, of course, there are the main exhibits. Whether you prefer a compact car, SUV, crossover, luxury sedan or something a little more experimental, representatives from all the world’s major auto manufacturers will be on hand to chat about their standbys, new models and concept vehicles.
The Miami International Auto Show is the first big car expo of the season, and often plays host to big reveals when it comes to new wheels. All the hottest 2016 models will be on display, with some further-in-the-future concept cars making their first appearances.
Attendees don’t just get to look at some of the cars – they get to touch, sit in and drive them too. Want to test the 4×4 capabilities of a Jeep yourself? Check out Camp Jeep, which gives visitors a chance to try out the 4×4 capabilities of various Jeeps.
