The Magellan person who helped me from Winnipeg was fabulous! I really appreciated how kind he was and he didn’t sound like he was reading from a script.

In the middle of my stay There was a big stain on my comforter that I did not make and wanted to know how it got there. I complained and thought they changed the comforter. However, the last nite of my stay I realized it was not. They just repositioned the comforter so I did not see the stain. I expressed my concerns to the manager that is not sanitary and how do I know that I was not sleeping on someone else's dirty bed. They sent up a new cover for the comforter and did not seem like it was a big deal.

The hotel is marvelous and the staff is even better. Delicious food from The National.

This was the second stay at this hotel . . . It is a very nice property, with a good location. The rooms are comfortable -- although sadly they are rather generic in terms of décor especially compared to the historic beauty of the building's exterior.

Benjamin hotel was a bit worn, rust stains on worn carpet and a white chair in our room that looked very warn. People were very nice, restaurant eas nice, lobby small but this is not a luxury hotel.!

We found the Benjamin and the staff there very welcoming, and we loved our suite (except for the small bathroom). We would definitely stay there again, especially for the price.

The room we were checked in to had a noisy and poor functioning a/c unit and a moldy shower curtain and the """"partial city view"""" turned out to be a section of brick wall. They moved us after the first night to an upgraded suite, but in both cases, the bathrooms were unusually small and difficult to maneuver.

Pros: Hotel was very nice. Good location and clean rooms. Cons: We were given a room on the 4th floor and we could hear all the street noise, cars, fire truck you name it. It was very difficult to sleep at night.

The service was exceptional We had to ask for a new or clean shower curtain and this was accommodated There were very few dishes in the kitchen and also no kettle ( when I asked for one only on the last day ) they brought one but it actually didnt work. (not a big deal but would recommend having a kettle and toaster in the kitchen rooms) It was wonderful to have a late check out at 2 pm!!! We were very greatful for this accomodation thankyou. The kingsize bed was very comfortable. The sofa bed was very uncomfortable . ( We have stayed at the Mariott hotels and they have very comfortable sofa beds!! You may wish to look in on this bc most people book a room like ours for comfortable beds. I would recommend a shower bar in the shower bc the tub floor is very slippery when wet. /hand rail. Our stay was very very good and we would love to stay at the Benjamin again. Thank you.

I was skeptical about my first booking with Magellan. There were no issues and no hidden costs. In the future, I will always call Magellan first.
