The Midway Museum, located at Navy Pier in downtown San Diego, is an aircraft carrier — the longest serving carrier in the 20th century — that has been converted into a maritime museum. San Diego’s incredible dining scene is thanks in part to the city’s proximity to both the Pacific Ocean as well as the Mexican border. From food trucks to fine dining, it’s as easy to find fresh, impeccably cooked seafood in the area as it is to find authentic Mexican fare.
