SLS has added a South Beach location to its lineup, which includes properties in Beverly Hills, and future sites in Las Vegas and New York City. The SLS South Beach is Miami’s newest hot spot for staying, dining and enjoying a cocktail.
A $45-million makeover spearheaded by legendary hotel designer Philippe Starck, has transformed what was the Ritz Plaza into a destination unlike any other in South Beach. Expect the unexpected – the décor has a whimsical nature and look and feel that is unique to the SLS South Beach.
The culinary program is lead by James Beard award-winning chef José Andrés, whose menu at The Bazaar melds Mediterranean and Latin influences on shared plates in a way that has been garnering rave reviews.
Andrés’ cuisine can also be savored at Hyde Beach, a beachfront day- and nightclub. With lavish nightlife venues in places such as Hollywood and Las Vegas, Hyde Beach offers patrons over 8,000 square feet of pool, beach and stunning indoor and outdoor spaces.
As for the rooms? While they feature the latest modern amenities (as well as breathtaking views of the ocean), the décor, like the rest of the hotel, is completely unique. Among the 140 eclectic rooms, there are 10 villas, and a bungalow and penthouse designed by iconic rocker Lenny Kravitz. You won’t want to stay anywhere else the next time you’re in South Beach.Tags:South Beach
