The Golden Triangle

Any shopper’s first stop should be Beverly Hills’ legendary Golden Triangle. Made up of three distinct but nearby (and incredible) shopping experiences, this is the starting point for anyone looking to browse or to buy. Driving this area isn’t an option, but for those willing to put in a bit of legwork it offers a next-level retail experience.

Located on Dayton Way, Two Rodeo is an upscale shopping center that’s nothing short of a retail mecca. There are luxury brands aplenty here, including Tiffany & Co., Versace, Jimmy Choo and so many more. Grab some sushi at the inimitable Urasawa, or go upscale at 208 Rodeo Restaurant to recharge before hitting the shops again.

Head south to Wiltshire Blvd. and you’ll hit Department Store Row, the second of three parts of Beverly Hills’ Golden Triangle. This is where retail royalty can be found: Saks Fifth Avenue, Nieman Marcus, Burberry, Barney’s New York and much more.

Of course, one can’t talk shopping in Beverly Hills without exploring the Golden Triangle’s most famous spot — Rodeo Drive. If your passion is fashion, Rodeo Drive where you need to be. It might not be the longest part of the Golden Triangle — it’s just a few blocks long — bit it’s certainly the best known. This is where all the designer labels can be found: Louis Vuitton, Yves Saint-Laurent, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana and so many many more. Don’t forget to check out the Walk of Style, which pays tribute to the biggest and brightest in the fashion world.

West 3rd Street

One of L.A.’s most walkable shopping districts, West 3rd Street runs over multiple bocks between Beverly and Wilshire boulevards. Here you’ll find some of the coolest independent retailers, galleries, eateries and more, with a mix of both locals and out-of-towners throughout. There are some particularly cool places to eat along West 3rd, whether you’re shopping solo or with friends or family.
