The authorization ensures that the card is valid and will be released 5 to 10 days after check-out, provided there is no damage, missing inventory, room charges, or excessive cleaning required. Amount held: $80.00 USD per night
Please note that if the owner of the credit card we have on file will not be present at check in, the person checking in at the hotel will need to provide their own credit card. If you need to make arrangements to prepay your stay (either for yourself or for someone else), please contact us immediately and we will forward you a Credit Card Authorization Form as hotels usually require a minimum of 7 days processing time.
Located on Pennsylvania Avenue only eight blocks from the White House and just west of downtown, this boutique hotel in the Foggy Bottom neighborhood exudes style and elegance. Featuring the reputable Jardenea Restaurant, first-rate amenities and plenty to see and do within walking distance, the Melrose Georgetown is ideal for the savvy traveler.
WHAT WE LOVE
The menu at Jardenea Restaurant focuses on seasonal, local fare including incredible seafood
Being located close to many of Washington’s embassies, memorials and museums is hard to beat
The room styling is a masterful blend of modern contemporary with accents that remind guests of the historically significant location
The handmade cocktails, specifically the martinis, at The Lounge are not to be missed
The manager, Abdullah, and staff members Aki and Nutella, were exceptionally kind. They were so personable, gave advice for restaurants and activities, and could help with the smallest hotel comforts.
